The complex contains the correct form of the amino acid lysine. The name of the amino acid lysine in itself - "indispensable", indicates the importance of a sufficient content of this substance in the body. Lysine is part of almost all the proteins in the body. Hormones and enzymes also have a protein structure. Hence its versatility. Amino acid takes a large part in the processes of tissue repair, production of antibodies, hormones, enzymes, and albumin.

The enormous role of lysine is proven in relation to the work of antiviral immunity and the general level of energy. To get acquainted with the list of scientific publications on the use of lysine for herpes - read more on this page. With a deficiency of this amino acid, increased fatigue occurs, hair growth, skin condition are disturbed, the nervous system is more susceptible to stress.

In one tablet, 1000 mg of l-lysine

Statements that are confirmed in the scientific literature regarding lysine.
In which areas of concern for a healthy lifestyle Lysine can be useful as a supplement to nutrition.
Genital herpes
One double-blind, placebo-controlled study, which included 52 participants with regular exacerbations of herpes. The study showed a significant difference in the treatment group, when they were receiving 3 g. of L-lysine every day for 6 months, they experienced an average of 2.4 times less exacerbations than in the placebo group in the same study. Herpes outbreaks were also significantly less severe and were faster. Another double-blind, placebo-controlled crossover study with 41 patients showed which dose was really effective - 1250 mg of lysine per day worked, but 624 mg was not enough for herpes. Lysine deficiency causes immunodeficiency.
In other areas:
Lysine is involved in the synthesis of carnitine, so its normal level supports the overall energy of the body, and especially the heart muscle. With osteoporosis, lysine improves calcium absorption. Additional use of lysine slows retinal damage in diabetes.
